I mean it won`t work as "armor" with such design. But, I think protection wasn`t the main idea that inspired such shape.

I agree. No I don't think a sword or some such with pierce the armor but there are so many gaps that it almost doesn't matter.

Beautiful work - is this entire piece resin? Would it work with full fingered gauntlets?
