Is that steel or painted?

It is painted. All our finished armour is made from a semi flexible resin and then painted to look like metal.

Hard to make in steel. But I would love to try!
Trouble is...it would never look as good as this.

Amazing design! Makes me want to make one where the jaw moves when the leg is bent. Maybe yours does this as well.

Still love that design man.
I'm in the middle of renovating the house I bought, once it's done I'm gearing up for my own suit.
Thank you for keeping me inspired ^^

Yes the test cast is fibreglass but the final pieces will be in a semi flexible ployurathene

so you're casting from a silicone mold? Is it slush casting?

I am casting from a fibreglass moulds and some silicone moulds and the using a brush on ployurathene. I use fibreglass moulds where ever I can to keep the costs down.

You can cast hard armor from a hard mold? probably no undercuts and what kind of mold release u use for the hard on hard casting?

You can if you are careful. There are some small undercuts but the fibreglass moulds have some flex and if you don`t cast to thick you can ease it out. I use mirror glaze and was spray mould release.
